Meet The Story Bender

I’ve always believed that stories shape the way we see the world. The ones we tell ourselves. The ones we grow up hearing. The ones we never forget.

My journey as a filmmaker began with a simple realization: stories have power. They can move people, shift perspectives, and sometimes, even change lives. That belief led me to create After the Waters, my directorial debut—a film that didn’t just document the devastation of flooding in Nigeria but helped mobilize support for other victims. That moment reiterated to me that filmmaking was more than just an art form; it was a tool for advocacy, for justice, for change.

At the core of it all, I’m just someone who believes that stories—when told right—can change the way we see each other, and maybe even the world.

In the years since, I’ve built a body of work that reflects that purpose through...

The Story Bender's Lab

The Story Bender’s Lab is where all my gifts come together under one roof—from writing to editing, producing to directing.

From short documentaries to campaign-driven commercials and behind-the-scenes films, TSBL works with organisations, brands, and creatives to create visual work that is both meaningful and cinematic.

At its core, the studio exists to honour the dignity of people and places often overlooked—to explore what matters and how it moves us.

We work with international organisations, brands, and creatives to produce documentaries, commercials, and behind-the-scenes stories that speak to something greater than the frame.

Whether you’re a brand with a message or an organisation with a story, let’s talk about how we can bring it to life.
